How does the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union affect my order in the Esprit Online Shop?
As our warehouse is in Germany, you understandably wonder how we are going to deal with the new situation and how this will affect your orders in the Esprit Online Shop.
First of all, be sure that we will not let you down!
Nevertheless, some things are beyond our influence and we are therefore expecting significant delays in the aftermath of the withdrawal depending which customs regulations will be in place.
In general, we differentiate between orders placed before and after 28 December.
Are there delivery delays expected?
We are not expecting any delivery delays for orders placed until 28 December, as they will be processed with priority to ensure shipping to the UK until 1 January.
Whereas orders placed after that date are likely to be held up at customs.
As of now, we expect delays of up to four weeks. Of course, we are taking all efforts to minimise the effect on you.
Returns and refunds
The good news is that we have a non-bureaucratic solution in place for all orders placed until 28 December so that we can guarantee that your returns and refunds will be processed as quickly as possible
Depending on the new customs regulations after the 28 December we also expect delays for returns from orders placed after that date.
Regardless, if you order before or after 28 December, the legal warranty regulations apply.
Will Esprit increase the shipping costs?
Again good news! Despite the increasing effort at customs, Esprit will not pass the costs on to you.
